Welcome To My Nightmare (1975)

After the breakup of the original Alice Cooper band, Alice went on to continue his solo career.  Even though he had been adopting the persona of "Alice Cooper" for years, he still wanted to avoid legal problems, so he legally changed his name to Alice Cooper at this point.  Welcome To My Nightmare was his first solo album, and it was a pretty decent success.  It's a concept album about the nightmares of a boy named Steven, and it inspired a TV special and a movie.  The narration you hear at the beginning of this song was done by Vincent Price, famous actor and voice actor for many horror-related TV shows and movies.
