This song is cool for a lot of reasons.
1) It sounds awesome, duh.
2) The intro speech is done by Robert Englund, the actor famous for playing Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare On Elm Street movies.
3) The album and tour that it's from are inspired by 80's slasher movies like Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday the 13th, and the accompanying stage show on his tours was so gory and violent that certain parts of it were banned by the German government. (And attempted to be banned in England by one politician.)
This album was part of Alice's comeback in the late 80's - he had spent several years on hiatus after releasing some unsuccessful albums earlier in the decade. He largely followed the trends in rock music for this comeback, adapting his sound to suit the popular hair metal style of the late 80's and early 90's.
