Here's a personal favorite of mine, because Alice Cooper sang it in the movie Wayne's World, which was filmed shortly after the release of this album. Also noteworthy is the number of guest appearances in the song. The bass part is done by Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, and the guitar solos are done by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. I don't know exactly which person is which during the solo, but if I had to guess, I'd guess that the first person to play is Vai and the second is Satriani. Also appearing on this track is Elvira, Mistress of Darkness (well-known horror show host), who speaks the line "He's such a psycho!" near the end of song.
Unfortunately for Alice, his resurgence in popularity during the late 80's didn't last too long. Hair metal was on the decline and alternative was soon to explode in the early 90's, which means his album sales began waning once again. Hey Stoopid would remain the last album of his to hit Gold status, to this day. Despite the varying popularity of his albums, though, his tours would continually sell out and get rave reviews, and he would continue to appear as a major celebrity in countless movies, shows, and cameos. His cultural presence as a rock icon never faded and never tarnished, which is more than most rockers can say by the time they're 60.
