Here's one of the many songs that Jeff Hanneman wrote for Slayer, off of their fourth album.  Their previous album, Reign In Blood, was such a success that the band figured they would never be able to top it.  So instead of trying to make a similar album, they opted to make something unique instead.  They wrote songs that were a little slower, and used less distortion on their guitars during recording.  Although some people didn't like the change at first, a lot of the songs are now considered crowd favorites.
