Man, Taddy Porter's new album was disappointing... (This isn't it, this is the first one, because it's awesome.) There second one wasn't bad (actually it was pretty good), but it was a change in style, and it was definitely worse than the first one because of it. They went from being an amazing modern rock band with roots in classic bluesy hard rock, like The Answer, to another low-fi 60's garage band like the Black Keys and Blue Van. Basically, they went from being incredibly unique and memorable to being an incredibly forgettable copy of every other band out there right now. They are an incredibly good forgettable copy, but they're still a forgettable copy.
(my opinion has gotten gradually worse over time, if you can't tell. It's not their fault. It's just that I always find myself only listening to their first album, because of how amazing it is, and then skipping right past the second one.)
