509: This Happened On Twitter

You guys might know Danny Baranowsky as the composer for the video games Super Meat Boy and The Binding Of Isaac, and Jake Kaufman (a.k.a. Virt) as the composer for Double Dragon Neon, Mighty Switch Force, and the new DuckTales.  Well, a few days ago a new trailer was released for the upcoming game Shovel Knight, which Jake is composing for, and I basically Tweeted what you see in the comic.  Danny and Jake were both super cool and were joking around about it, but I was more embarrassed than I had ever been in years.  Nobody thought it was a big deal except for me, but I thought it was a HUGE deal.  I mean, I'm a fan of both of these guys, I pride myself on my video game music knowledge, and I even backed Shovel Knight's Kickstarter for Pete's sake!  So not only was this Freudian slip a super dumb one, but I was really upset that the first thing Danny and Jake ever saw about me was a mistake I had made.  But I owe them both a lot for being such radical guys; they're both super nice and you should check out their works if you haven't had the chance to yet, you won't be sorry.
