Here's one of the singles from Muse's third album, Absolution, and their first song to reach the Top 10 in the UK. When Muse first began, their musical style was heavily influenced by Rage Against The Machine, which can be heard in the guitar riffs on their early albums. But over time, they gradually strayed away from Tom Morello and moved closer to a more melodic, Radiohead-esque style, and then continued expanding from there. This song and this album are at the cross-section of those two early styles, with shades of RATM and Radiohead present in the setlist.
