Song of the Day

Hard Luck Woman
Rock And Roll Over (1976)

I don't care if this song is atypical of Kiss'ss usual hard rock style, it's still one of my favorite songs of theirs.  It's written by singer Paul Stanley to sound like a Rod Stewart song, and was originally intended to be sung by Rod, but Gene Simmons insisted that drummer Peter Criss sing it instead.  The artist who designed the cover for this album also designed the cover of their latest one, 2009's "Sonic Boom".  Both are great records, and if you haven't listened to Sonic Boom yet, it's actually one of my favorites thus far.
