One of Jimi's great blues pieces, one of the earliest songs he wrote for The Experience. The song follows every convention of early traditional blues songs, including it's beginning riff, it's timing and chord structure, and it's lyrical theme (Oh, Lord, my woman done left me!). The track was left off of the American release of the album, because the record company said "Americans don't like the blues," which Jimi was unhappy about. The track got featured on most later releases though, like compilations and remasters.
