344: Sunset

Thus ends our long journey through space and time.  Those guys sure were lucky to get that public pool all to themselves the whole time.  Definitely not about me wanting to have less to draw, no sir.  I feel like that sunset required all of the coloring techniques tfrom, oh, a 3rd grade art class.  In your face, public schools, looks like that shit ain't gone to waste yet!

There've been a ouple awesome albums released lately, including Dethklok's Dethalbum III and The Sword's Apocryphon, with Aerosmith's Music From Another Dimension following in just a few days.  This means I'll have plenty to talk about over the next week.  But for today, let me talk about a Norwegian punk band called Turbonegro.  The band is highly regarded for their humorous, sexual, and politically incorrect lyrics and onstage performances, wearing everything from denim trucker outfits to minstrel-style blackface at their shows.  Their music is also pretty fucking awesome, and varied, taking influence from punk rock, glam rock, and 70's hard rock artists like Alice Cooper.  Jello Biafra from Dead Kennedys called one of their albums the best punk album of the 90's.  And some of you may remember this song of theirs from Jackass.  Basically, they're a pretty big deal, and they fucking deserve to be.  Big thanks go out to Martin from Norway for the excellent recommendation!
