Song of the Day

Handbook For The Sellout
Five Iron Frenzy
Proof That The Youth Are Revolting (1999)

This song has one of my favorite lyrical messages of all time.  It talks poignantly about the concept of selling out, but not from the perspective you'd think.  Instead of making fun of musicians who sell out, the song makes fun of indie rock fans who start hating a band just because it starts becoming popular.  It calls those fans the real sellouts, because they give up on a band they love just to protect their own anti-mainstream image.  It's freaking genius.  If you want to read the lyrics while listening to the song, right-click this link to open up a new page.
